Son frère, mon amant — Épisode 16
Pregnant Layla attends her husband Matt’s funeral in grief, only to be interrogated by the police—until a man named Orlando, who claims to be Matt’s younger brother, drives them away and forcibly takes Layla with him. She soon learns that her late husband was the godfather of the most powerful mafia family, and Orlando has now inherited everything. For the sake of her unborn child, Layla has no choice but to live with Orlando. After a kidnapping incident, Layla loses the baby, but Orlando risks his life to save her and cares for her devotedly. As misunderstandings between them fade, their bond deepens into love—until Orlando’s mother discovers their affair and forces him into an arranged marriage with another woman. However, at his wedding, Orlando shocks everyone by proposing to Layla instead. Just then, her supposedly dead husband, Matt, suddenly returns—alive. He demands Layla back and seeks to reclaim his title as godfather, revealing his faked death as part of a sinister scheme. Can Layla and Orlando survive the storm ahead?"
